  • We were very pleased with the work that completed by Richard's Roofing. The quality of work was high and the clean up after was exceptional. The installers were very good to explain what they were doing. The extras that I appreciated were the helpful suggestions offered by both Shawna and Steve. We were going to match the previous shingles but they suggested a slightly different colour which after they were installed were a far better match for our house. They also recommended the removal of a decorative cupola which we did and again this improved the look of our house. There were no issues with our roof and the price quoted was the final invoice price. We highly recommend that people consider using the services of Richard's Roofing.

  • We came to use Richard’s Roofing after a good friend used them and was very satisfied with their work and after numerous times trying to contact a roofing company that our family and friends used in the past that kept putting us off after agreeing to help us. This is very important because when I contacted Richard’s (late fall) they were very upfront about time lines about jobs they had on the go and were clear it would be weather driven if they could do it within the late fall/winter. However, Steve came right away and completed an estimate and because of the weather they were here in the spring; and came on the date they said they would be here. The installers were very professional; took the time to explain what and how they would be doing the job. Their foremen went well and beyond to call of duty explaining some non roofing issues that he noticed while on the roof; and of course the work like our friend’s was done to the highest professional standard a person could ask for!!! Clean up was done very well and what I liked is the foremen cared about his workers making sure they stopped and “watered up” during a very hot day. Final bill was the same as the estimate. A very excellent company whom I would recommend to anyone, which I have already done!!!!

  • Richards Roofing phoned me on a Monday and said that would be at my place the following morning at 8 AM. At 8 AM the following morning their truck and trailer was backing in my driveway. Don't see that a lot anymore The crew started working right away and when I returned home from town around 3 o'clock that afternoon they were finished and gone. There wasn't a piece of trash to be seen. No dents or marks on the gutters either. I give them the highest marks for excellence. I'd recommend them to anybody who was looking for high end roofers.

  • Great customer service! Shawna did a great job at explaining every step of the way and keeping me informed on our timeline. Roofers did a great job, even though the weather wasn’t cooperating! They finished the job in a timely matter and made sure to clean everything up before leaving. I have a dog and was worried about nails in the grass but they did a great job picking everything up! Love the look of my new roof!!

  • I was extremely happy with my roofing job. I had previously contacted another roofing company and waited almost two years and finally gave up with the continual delays and poor communitation. Richards' Roofing was recommended by a friend and who spoke of them very highly. I was pleased that I followed up on her advise. From my first contact I was told that I would be put on a list and that the order would be maintained. I offered to send a deposit and was advised it was not required. Mr. Richards would compile an assessment and would be advised of the cost. I initially asked for only half the roof to be completed as the other half had been done approximately twelve years before. The following week I changed my mind and called back to confirm that I deceided to do the whole roof and would they please adjust the assessment cost. No problem. The new guote was received with the priviso of a increase in material costs could effect the bottom line. At that time material costs were soaring so I had no problem with a possible increase. Upon completion of the job there was an identified minor increase noted by a personal phone call from their business office. Quality of job and communication. I understand that a rating of 5 is considered the best. I would say it well exceeded that, I would give them a 10. I was advised the crew would be on site the following Tuesday at 8:00am and they were. They worked orderly due to an excellent foreman who set the pace. One person was assigned clean up during the day but everyone did clean up before they left the work site. One day they worked until after 7:00pm because of forecasted rain the next day and they didn't want to chance a problem with a open area. They completed the roof in three days. The final morning they still had to do my shed roof. It rained from the time they arrived and continued until it was completed. They left the work site clean. The crew was pleasent and respectful. I know I'm old school but I find these are rarely found gualities today and when I do I think they should be acknowledged I would highly recommend Richards' Roofing to everyone. Heather Orford

Communication was excellent, especially considering the long lead time, which they were up front about from the beginning. Ryan and his crew were professional and did a great job. They were were quite busy but before they started our roof Fiona wreaked havoc. Shawna called to explain they had to triage jobs to look after those who suffered extreme damage but said they would do any repair necessary to keep our roof in safe condition. That did not become necessary so they did our roof early this year. The workmanship is very good as it should be. The roofers were friendly and polite. They cleaned up after the job and used good practices during the job. They always left the site tidy. Shawna did a great job of keeping us informed. I believe they are well managed and do an excellent job.
