The Business Profile of the Month for July is Bevan Bros. Plumbing and Heating. A family owned company, Bevan Bros. was started in 1934 by Roy Bevan. Bevan Bros. specializes in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing and heating projects. General Manager Quentin Bevan attributes the company’s past and ongoing success to core values: “For over eighty years we have operated with traditional values such as loyalty, honesty, and a strong work ethic…at Bevan Bros., we have established a solid reputation for being capable of completing all sizes of plumbing and heating projects, from emergency service calls, residential repairs and service, to total mechanical on large scale commercial and industrial projects.”

No matter whether Bevan Bros is undertaking a residential, commercial, or industrial project, the company always finds working with customers to be the most rewarding and enjoyable part of their day. With customer satisfaction being the top priority for the business, the staff at Bevan Bros. is always respectful of their customer’s time and hard earned dollars! A Day on the Job

A typical day at Bevan Bros. begins with their servicemen arriving at the shop to plan their with the service manager, Brent. The job site crews arrive on their job sites early in the morning and typically stay on the same job all day, however, the servicemen move all around throughout the day between people’s homes and businesses addressing plumbing and heating problems as well as completing various other small jobs. While all of that is going on, the office staff is busy managing projects, and providing free estimates for their many valued clients.

Continuing to Grow in PEI

Over the coming years, Bevan Bros. will continue to strive to build upon its 80 years of success in PEI. Quentin believes the two main principles central to the future prosperity of the company are customer service and quality workmanship.  States Quentin: “Our service department has tripled in size over the past 5 years. We feel that this is because of the attention we put on our customer, and the hard work and quality of our Red Seal Certified Plumbers. We want to continue to focus on our customers and continue to grow this side of the business.” Mr. Bevan also recognizes the importance of adapting to evolving technology and techniques within the industry: “Similar to many industries, technology has played a key role in the advancement in the plumbing and heating industry. We are always looking a new ways to use technology to improve our productivity.”
