On March 16, 2020, the Province of PEI declared a Public Health Emergency as part of its efforts to flatten the curve, and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Non-essential businesses have closed with others taking careful precautionary measures.
With the unprecedented times we’re currently experiencing with the pandemic of COVID-19, the daily operations of Mallard Painting have changed. In order to protect customers, staff and the general public, Mallard Painting has reduced their jobs significantly as most work involves the homes of islanders.
The company will continue to work in an essential and safe manner, eliminating unnecessary work in homes. They will continue with the provision of estimates, as well as work in vacant and unoccupied properties that are safe for their employees to do so. Precautions are exercised during these times, such as the following:
- Working in vacant properties only
- The proper physical distancing between employees while on a job site
- Maximum of 2 staff are assigned to a job
Other means of helping their customers during this time include:
Encouraging customers to send photographs, plans, etc. so they are able to provide estimates in a safe manner.
Virtual walkthroughs in homes are also an option for customers
Mallard Painting is looking forward to working with you, their customers, during this difficult time and are looking forward to fully operational interior and exterior painting when it is safe to do so and in accordance with advice from public health officials.
